Harigai joined MOL in 1993, beginning a career in the woodchip carrier division. Throughout the years, Harigai has primarily focused on the dry bulk sector within the company.

In 2023, Harigai was appointed as General Manager of the Woodchip Carrier Division at MOL Drybulk, where Harigai continues to lead strategic initiatives in dry bulk shipping.
